Privacy Policy

The Jones Family Office takes privacy issues very seriously.  We provide this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) because users (“Users” or “you”) of the www.jnsgrp.com website (the “Website”) or digital applications (collectively, the “Electronic Services”) have the right to know what information we collect, how we maintain, protect, and use that information, and the circumstances under which we may disclose that information. 

Please read the Policy carefully, as your use of any of the Electronic Services constitutes your acceptance of, and agreement to, the terms and conditions of the Policy.  Do not use any of the Electronic Services if you do not agree with the terms and conditions of the Policy. 

We may modify the Policy from time to time without prior notice.  Changes to the Policy are effective as soon as we post them, unless we indicate otherwise.  Your continued use of any of the Electronic Services constitutes your acceptance of any changes to the Policy.

A. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information by which you may be personally identified for certain purposes.  We may collect personal information about Users whether the information is provided on or through any of the Electronic Services or in e-mail, text, or other electronic messages to the Electronic Services.  If you write to us for any reason, we may retain a record and copy of your correspondence.

The Electronic Services may contain your personal information that you have provided to us, or that we have obtained, other than through the Electronic Services.  Unless we have disclosed otherwise, we apply this Policy to all of your personal information that is stored in the Electronic Services, whether we have obtained such information through the Electronic Services or otherwise.

  4. We compile anonymous, aggregated statistics from Users for a variety of internal purposes.  We do not use this anonymous, aggregated data in any way that could identify an individual person or User             .

C. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION 

  1. We may disclose anonymous, aggregated information about our Users and information that does not identify any person or User for any business purpose.
  2. We may disclose the information we collect from you, including personal information, to third parties who provide us with services (such as website maintenance) to the extent necessary to provide those services.  Although we will use your information only pursuant to our policies, third-party service providers may use your information pursuant to their own policies.  We will seek to require all third-party service providers to whom we provide your information to follow appropriate privacy policies, and we will not authorize them to use the information we provide to them other than for the express purpose for which we provide it.  However, we do not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of any third party.

D. COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGY

We use cookies and other tracking technologies in connection with the Electronic Services.  Cookies and other tracking technologies are used for a variety of purposes.  Some facilitate use of the Electronic Services by allowing us to recognize your device and to remember your preferences.  Others provide information about Users, such as their language preferences and geographic locations, the content they view, and the frequency of their use of the Electronic Services.  Others allow us to analyze how Users are using the Electronic Services, such as how Users arrive at the Electronic Services and the technology that they use to access the Electronic Services.

The Electronic Services may contain links to websites, web pages, or other resources provided and maintained by third parties (“Third-Party Sites”).  We provide any links to Third-Party Sites only for your convenience.  We do not control Third-Party Sites, and we assume no responsibility or liability for the content or features of, or accessibility to, Third-Party Sites.  We are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused, or alleged to have been caused, by or in connection with your use of or reliance on any content, information, or services available on or through any Third-Party Site.  If you choose to visit any Third-Party Site linked to the Electronic Services, you do so at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of the Third-Party Site.  We encourage Users to read the privacy policy of every Third-Party Site.  Our inclusion of links to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or of the policies of their operators or any association with their operators.

F. USE OF WEBSITE BY CHILDREN 

The Electronic Services are not intended for use by anyone under age 18.  We do not knowingly collect, distribute, or share any personal information from persons under age 18.  We are not under any obligation to verify that persons accessing the Electronic Services are, in fact, over 18 years of age, but, if we become aware that anyone under age 18 has provided personal information on or through the Electronic Services, we will delete such information as soon as possible under the circumstances.

G. SECURITY 

We store your information on our servers located in the United States.  We use commercially reasonable procedures and a variety of safeguards to protect personal information collected through, or stored in, the Electronic Services.  However, no security system is perfect and, as such, we do not guarantee the security of the Electronic Services or that your personal information will not be intercepted while being transmitted to, or stored in, the Electronic Services.

H. DEACTIVATION OF YOUR PASSWORD AND REMOVAL OF INFORMATION 

On your request, we will deactivate your password and remove your information from our active databases.  We may also deactivate your password in accordance with our internal policies, in which case we will notify you by e-mail of our intended deactivation of your access to the Electronic Services.

Although we may remove your information from our active databases, we will retain your information in our files, and we will apply this Policy to the retained information.
